The NutriFlow Bottle in the POT is designed to release water gradually, allowing the roots to breathe and grow healthily.
Over time, slight changes in internal pressure may slow the dripping for a while.
When this happens, gently shake the bottle once or twice.
As the pressure balances again, water will flow naturally, providing your plants with a steady and reliable supply of moisture.
Occasionally shaking the bottle helps maintain stable water flow.

1. Smart Dual Watering & Nutrient System
The BALCONYFARM Pot offers a hybrid water supply system that combines hydroponics and capillary action-based drip irrigation.
Water is added through the Water Level Indicator Chamber. As water flows in, the yellow tip of the red indicator rises to show that the Water Tub is full. Once the Water Tub is filled, the semi-deep water hydroponic system keeps your plants hydrated for 3 to 7 days depending on growth conditions.
In addition, when the NutriFlow Bottle is filled and placed into the Water Level Indicator Chamber, water is gradually released through a drip mechanism and flows through a patented capillary channel in the Seedbed.
This ensures each plant receives just the right amount of water and nutrients. This system supports healthy root respiration and promotes consistent, healthy growth.
2. Flexible Lighting for Day & Night Growth
The BALCONYFARM Pot’s Lamp, which houses both sensor and connectivity functions, is designed to be easily moved to suit your daily routine.
During the day, you can switch off the Lamp and move your plants near a window to soak up natural sunlight. In the evening bring them back indoors and use the Lamp if the plants need a little extra light.
At night, you can place the Lamp on your desk and read a book under the mood lighting while enjoying the fresh air the plant provides.
⚠️ Please note that the BALCONY Palm mobile application features only functions when the Lamp is connected to power.
3. Personalized Garden for Your Lifestyle
BALCONYFARM Pot lets you grow up to six different plants at once using individual CONEs. Whether you're a beginner urban gardener looking to grow fresh, healthy ingredients like tatsoi, mustard leaves, or arugula, or someone seeking calm and relaxation with fragrant herbs like rosemary, thyme, and peppermint—BALCONYFARM POT helps you create the perfect combination for your lifestyle.
Mix and match flowers, leafy greens, and herbs to suit your space and enjoy the rewarding experience of growing your very own personalized garden.
4. Smart and Convenient Plant Care with our mobile application, BALCONY Palm
The BALCONY Palm helps you grow your plants smarter and more conveniently.
• Easily register your plant by scanning the QR code on the seed package.
• The app automatically sets the optimal growing conditions for your registered plants, including temperature, humidity, and light.
• If conditions fall outside the ideal range, you’ll receive an alert—prompting you to ventilate the room or adjust your plant’s location.
• The Lamp adjusts itself based on your plant’s light compensation and saturation points.
• Choose from a variety of lighting modes to suit your lifestyle, including sunrise/sunset mode, mood lighting, and a sleep timer.
5. Silent Growing System
BALCONYFARM Pot uses the same indoor environment that you live in—no separate cooling or heating systems are needed to grow your plants. It also doesn’t rely on motors for watering or oxygen supply, which means lower energy consumption and completely silent operation. If your indoor space becomes too hot, cold, or humid, we recommend ventilating the area or moving the plant to a more suitable location for healthy growth.
Yes, BALCONYFARM Pot can function without a direct power supply. However, in this case, the Lamp and BALCONY Palm mobile application connectivity features will not be available.
To use these features, simply connect the power adapter to the C-type power port located at the bottom of the Lamp. If you're using the Pot outdoors or in a space where power is limited, you can also connect it to a portable battery.
BALCONYFARM Pot is designed for flexibility and portability. The power cord connects to the Lamp, not the main body, allowing you to place the Pot anywhere indoors as long as the Lamp can be powered.
You can also attach the Lamp to a separately sold Cradle and move it to a sunnier spot. Whether it’s your kitchen, dining table, or child’s room, the Pot can be moved freely and styled to complement any space in your home.
If you register your BALCONYFARM product on our website within 60 days of purchase, you’ll receive a one-year free warranty. Exchanges are available for seeds when low germination rates are confirmed as a valid reason for return.
The replaceable components of the BALCONYFARM Pot are made with CXP material, a plastic-free material.
CXP is an eco-friendly material created by upcycling waste byproducts such as wood, forestry residues, rice husks, and discarded oyster shells.
By turning these waste materials into useful components, the Pot helps reduce environmental impact and supports sustainable living.
Debris from roots or growing media may accumulate in the Water Tub, and mineral deposits can build up over time. As a general guideline, gently clean the Water Tub once a week using water or a soft sponge.
At the end of a full growing cycle (about 3 to 6 months), we recommend a more thorough cleaning using a soft sponge and mild soapy water. If you notice limescale buildup from hard water, mix a small amount of vinegar with warm water to help remove it.
To clean the Seedbed, soak it in a large container filled with water for about a day. This helps loosen acidic deposits or hardened residue. After soaking, rinse thoroughly under running water.
⚠️ If using household cleaners like hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, or citric acid, make sure to rinse thoroughly multiple times to leave no residue.
Green algae that form on the surface of the growing medium are a common occurrence in soilless cultivation environments and do not affect plant growth.
However, if you wish to remove the algae for aesthetic reasons, gently scrape off the affected areas. To prevent further algae growth, cover the exposed surface of the medium—especially areas exposed to sunlight—with a light-blocking sheet (such as black nonwoven fabric or aluminum foil).
Be mindful not to seal the surface too tightly; excessive humidity on the medium can accelerate algae formation, so ensure there is adequate ventilation.
⚠️ If the water level in the basin remains above the recommended level for extended periods, oxygen supply to the roots may be disrupted, potentially leading to microbial growth. Please monitor the watering status either via the app or visually, and maintain appropriate water levels accordingly.
