POT is designed to accommodate different types of plants so they can thrive together.
Its modular structure includes movable cones, a water bottle set, and a lamp, all of which can be repositioned to suit each plant’s needs. This flexibility makes it easy to grow leafy greens, herbs, and flowers in the same space, with each plant thriving in its ideal spot.
Each plant receives a different amount of light depending on how close it is to the lamp. By placing each one where it gets the light it prefers, you can create a balanced environment where all your plants grow evenly and stay healthy.
Even if you're growing just one type of plant, every spot provides enough light for healthy growth. The slight differences in brightness simply bring out each plant’s natural character.
With POT, anyone can easily create their own little garden.

Example 1: Growing Basil and Arugula Together
Place the basil cones closer to the light.
Basil thrives with more light and will grow fuller, more vibrant leaves when placed in a brighter spot.
Place the arugula cones slightly farther from the light.
Arugula grows well even in moderate light, so it doesn’t need to be directly under the lamp.
Recommended layout:
Refer to the suggested cone placement diagram below to help your plants grow in harmony.

Example 2: Growing Marigold and Peppermint Together
Place the marigold cones closer to the light.
Marigolds bloom more abundantly when they receive plenty of light.
Place the peppermint cones slightly farther from the light.
Peppermint is adaptable and grows well even with less intense light.
Recommended layout:
Check the suggested cone arrangement below to ensure both plants thrive together.

In the early stages of plant growth, consistent moisture is important for germinating, but plants typically consume only a small amount of water. If the Water Tub is fully filled, the initial watering can often support your plants for about a week or even longer during the early growth phase. Once the cotyledons (first leaves) emerge, water consumption will vary depending on plant type, growth stage, and environmental conditions. During periods of high water demand, if both the Water Tub and Water Bottle are fully filled, the system can provide slow, consistent hydration for up to 3 days without additional watering.
You can check the water level using two indicators:
• The indicator light on top of the Lamp
• The indicator in the Water Level Indicator Chamber
The Lamp glows blue in automatic mode and green in manual mode.
If either color is accompanied by a blinking red light, it means the Water Tub is empty.
In that case, simply lift off the NutriFlow Bottle, pour water directly into the Water Level Indicator Chamber until the yellow tip of the red indicator becomes visible. When the red bar rises, the Water Tub is full.
After filling the Water Tub, you can also refill the NutriFlow Bottle for continuous drip irrigation. The indicator may rise slightly more after this, which is completely normal.
If pests are found on plants grown in the BALCONYFARM Pot, they may have entered through various routes — such as from nearby outdoor plants or through open windows.
To prevent infestations, maintain a stable indoor temperature and humidity, and avoid weakening plant roots.
You can also use companion planting by growing strongly scented herbs like rosemary, peppermint, or basil nearby to naturally repel pests.
Alternatively, you can make natural insect repellents at home:
Tips for Making Natural Plant Repellents!
• Vinegar Spray: Mix water and vinegar at an 8:2 ratio and spray on both the front and back of the leaves.
• Garlic Spray: Crush one clove of garlic, mix it with 500ml of water, let it sit for a day, and then spray onto the leaves.
• Egg Yolk Spray: Dilute one egg yolk in 500–1000ml of water and spray directly onto affected areas.
• Repeat the spraying 2–3 times a day for 3–5 days until the pests are eliminated.
